Who we are
The family behind Neyaz Furniture House.
Md Nasir ran the timber and furniture business in Siwan for years, and a good number of houses in this district still have his doors on them. Same family, same workshop, run today by his son Neyaz.
The name is new because the work is different now. A door and a frame is still a door and a frame, but a kitchen in 2026 is a modular system — factory-cut carcasses, soft-close hardware, edge banding pressed by machine — and that is a different trade from the one a carpenter learned twenty years ago.
So we learned it properly rather than pretending. The workshop is the same, the hands are the same, and the things that were always true here — measure it yourself, do not take money for work you have not shown anybody, fix what the customer points at — did not need changing.
What did need adding: 3D design before anything is cut, board grades named in writing, branded hardware rather than whatever the supplier had, and a way for a family in Doha to watch their own house being finished from four thousand kilometres away.
If a job goes wrong you know exactly whose door to knock on, and that has always been the point of doing this under a family name.
What we will not do
- —Quote a lump sum without naming what is in it
- —Start cutting before you have seen and approved a design
- —Ask for the whole amount before the work is in your house
- —Hand your job to outside labour and call it ours
- —Show you a photograph of somebody else’s kitchen and imply we built it
